How it works. Your browser runs the JavaScript Yjs client. The server is pure Go (ygo), no Node.js runtime. Edits become CRDT operations encoded in the Yjs V1 wire format, sent over WebSocket to the Go server, persisted to SQLite, and broadcast to all connected peers. Same protocol any standard Yjs ecosystem tool (Tiptap, BlockNote, ProseMirror, CodeMirror, Hocuspocus) speaks.
